Second day at work, and I'm feeling the tight bond in the company.
I'm currently working with Ogawa. www.ogawa.com.sg

I didn't take up Replay's offer was because Ogawa is giving me more exposure in my work, though it would be definitely be extra stressful, extra challenging, at least I'll be able to learn more from them. Considering this is my first official REAL job. (DBS was contract based)

First day of work.

" I would like you to call up the banks that are in partnership with us, introduce yourself, and propose to them a 36 months 0% installment plan. Ask them whether they would prefer an email, letter or a meet up with them, then draft out the email."

My eyes grew wide open and I was at a lost for words. okay... I knew that wasn't the cleverest thing to do on my first day of work, but I thought FIRST DAY would always be the orientation day?...... eh..right?

Introduction to the company, letter of appointment, a tour around the building (I went to explore abit since Louis was late for an hour and half) etc..
Moreover, I'm like a super duper newbie, fresh grad with no experience whatsoever, and there I was, sitting at someone else's desk (my desk came in today with my PC), paper and pen in hand, drafting out the so-called formal email. I was shaking.. seriously, because I had no prior experience at all, plus, there was no example or previous email to show me. For a moment, I was scared.

Thoughts ran through my mind.
"What if it was not up to expectation?!!"
"What if I wrote totally out of point?!!"
"What if I screwed up on the first day of work?!!"
Oh my,... the what ifs' were running through my head endlessly.

It took me a whole morning to draft out the email. Showed it to Louis today, he thought one of it was a tad formal. He wanted me to build a good rapport with the bank ppl. He wanted me to be more casual. He said "Its incorporating PR too. You need it when you go out to meet clients." Oh no!! I'm now in PR too?

I started to think. What have I gotten myself into? Was I wayyyyy to ambitious to have taken up this job offer? I feel so under qualified for it. Marketing, public relations, business development, personal assistant. Oh my! Oh my!
I can tell that he is taking things slow for me now. For he has plenty on his hands for me to crack my head at.

Mmm.. but I will hang in there for now. I will make mistakes though, I'm sure of that, but I'll learn too. I'll fall, but I will pick my self back up again, with or without help. I will. : D

I'll be meeting my Prince tomorrow. At last.
It seemed like ages, and ages, ago since I've last saw you Marc.
I know you'll be reading this. :p
So happy for you that you've gotten the job that you like.
Who knows, but I might be your very first client. hahaha :p

All righto, I'm off to sleep now. Tomorrow's day 3 for me.
